Trey Gundlach is Vice President of Commercial Development at LDK Ventures, LLC, with a focus on acquisition due diligence, under writing, entitlements, and management of development services for multifamily and industrial projects in the Western Region of the US.
Prior to joining LDK Ventures, LLC, Mr. Gundlach was a principal for a development partnership in Sacramento that developed over five million square feet of commercial development, which included office, retail, and multi-family Class A residential projects. Mr. Gundlach was involved in all aspects of development, but primarily responsible for the entitlement, contracting, and delivery of the product to end users. In his twenty years of experience in development, Mr. Gundlach has been responsible for the development of build-to-suits for clients such as Verizon, Intel, Micron, Waste Connections, Allstate, Esurance, Delta Dental, VSP, Adventist Health, Macy's, Walmart, Staples, Best Buy, Bed Bath Beyond, PetSmart, DSW, as well as many local small office and retail tenants.
Prior to working in development, Mr. Gundlach was a project engineer for an engineering firm in Portland, Oregon, where he was responsible for preparing technical studies, civil construction documents, specifications, permitting, and construction administration. Mr. Gundlach obtained a Civil Engineers license in California, Oregon, and Washington during that time.
Mr. Gundlach received his Master of Business Administration from the University of Portland and his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Davis. Mr. Gundlach is currently a licensed Civil Engineer in California, an IREM Certified Property Manager, and a licensed California Real Estate Broker/Property Manager.
