Josh Leachman is Vice President of Project Development for LDK Ventures, LLC, an entity focused on value-add real estate acquisition and development opportunities in the Western Region of the US. Mr. Leachman’s primary responsibility is executing new real estate investment opportunities with a focus on implementing and transforming The Railyards, one of the nation’s largest infill development projects, located in Sacramento, CA. Mr. Leachman’s work includes coordinating entitlements, community outreach, government relations, engineering and design, and both infrastructure and vertical development construction.
Prior to joining LDK Ventures, LLC, Mr. Leachman worked for StoneBridge Properties, LLC, a subsidiary of Teichert Land Co. focusing on development of sustainable, infill and adaptive reuse communities ranging in size from 20 acres to 3500 acres. Notably, Mr. Leachman led the redevelopment efforts of the former Sutter Memorial Hospital in East Sacramento – transforming the original 20 acre hospital campus into a new vibrant mixed-use community. Previous to StoneBridge, Mr. Leachman worked in community management with a national homebuilder where he focused on master-planned communities and age-restricted community development.
Mr. Leachman received his Bachelors of Art in Economics from Stanford University and his Masters of Business Administration from the University of California at Davis. He was a scholarship athlete and two-time NCAA National Champion during his collegiate tenure on the Stanford Water Polo team.
